Unit 4


  1. Describe your experience. Did you find it beneficial? Difficult? Why or why not? Would you recommend this to others? Why or why not? I think that the loving kindness mp3 was really good. I would recommend it to people. It teaches you how to relax and allow you to experience and give love to people you do not like and to people you love. This relaxation technique for loving kindness should probably be done before your day starts and as you develop the technique you can use it during the times when you need it the most.
  2. What is the concept of "mental workout"? What does the research indicate are the proven benefits of a mental workout? How can you implement mental workouts to foster your psychological health? It is not possible to evolve our psychospiritual life and access its capabilities and resources without daily practice (Dacher p. 64). The most meaningful aim of practice is not the rest and relaxation, but rather the progressive development of an expande consciousness and its healing capacities.
